Ride with Aboriginal Peoples Kay-ye-my to Garigal country

Aboriginal saying: All the Earth is sacred
- 7.00am – Meet at Kay-ye-my (West Esplanade, Manly) where Wil-Le-Me-Ring, a Garigal man speared Captain Arthur Phillip in 1778
- 7.30am – Leave Manly – 7km to Dee Why – via Queenscliff turn right onto Queenscliff Road then Freshwater and Curl Curl
- 8.15am – Meet at the southern crossing in beachside park at Howard Ave and The Strand Dee Why Beach. From here follow the cycling track to Fisher Road and east Narrabeen Lagoon trail around the water and across the Pittwater Rd bridge pedestrian section to the west of the lake and off to Ocean Street.
- 9.15am – Meet at North Narrabeen in Birdwood Park on left on Ocean Street north of the bridge, Then North, turn right up Narrabeen Park Parade to Mona Vale.
- 9.40am – Meet at Robert Dunn Reserve, Mona Vale. Have a Cold Drink. Then along the coast trail to Golf Parade, and onto Church Point via Pittwater Road
- 10.30am – be welcomed by friends at Church Point.
Meet Garigal man, Uncle Neil Evers and Aunty Clair Jackson a Ugarapul-Gidabal woman from South East QLD.
With a Welcome to Country and a Smoking Ceremony.
Acknowledging and celebrating Aboriginal history and culture, listen to the soulful sound of the didgeridoo, play the clap sticks listen the NB Voice Sing Group.
