    Celebrate traditional Aboriginal culture with us in a New Moon Ceremony at

  Narrabeen Lagoon

Birdwood Park

Ocean Street Narrabeen

There will be a Traditional Smoking Ceremony and a Welcome to Country performed by local Garigal man.

Immerse yourself in the Smoke and release your problems, leave them with the old moon and welcome in the new moon with a refreshing washing of your feet for a fresh start, meditating on your new intentions.

We will all enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. You can play the Clapsticks listen to the sound of the didgeridoo playing, storytelling as well dancing. Kids are most welcome.

These events are run by descendants of the Traditional Custodians of the Country.

We suggest you bring a folding chair and/or blanket and some water.

This free community event is alcohol-free.
